Before You Continue...

A first step as you consider this study is to answer one question about your child's age. If your answer shows the study might be a good fit for them, you may choose to be referred to a study clinic that you select. You will then be asked to provide your contact information for a study representative to contact you and discuss the next steps. Only the study staff can determine if your child meets the study's eligibility criteria and is able to enroll in the study.

Click 'Next' to begin the questionnaire.

A PARENT OR GUARDIAN SHOULD ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS.
Question 1 of 1
Is your child between 6 months and less than 5 years old?

Sorry, your child is not eligible, or we may not be recruiting their age group at this time...

Thank you so much for your interest in our COVID-19 vaccine study and for answering our questions.

There may be other Pfizer research studies enrolling in your area in the future. If you would like to be notified about future research opportunities, we will collect your name, phone number, and email address so that a study representative may contact you about other research studies. Your contact information will not be used for any other purposes.

The individual responses you've provided will be used by Pfizer, or our partners supporting this study, to look for areas of improvement such as revising the criteria for participation in this study. Pfizer study team members and our partners will have access to reports containing aggregated data that will not be directly linked back to you. All information is stored on servers in the United States.

If your child has received 2 or 3 doses of Pfizer & BioNTech's COMIRNATY® COVID-19 vaccine (BNT162b2 3 ug), he or she may be eligible for another Omicron-targeted vaccine study. To learn more and see if your child qualifies, please visit Omicron Pediatric Study - Vaccinated (C4591048 SSB/C)

This study is for children who have not received any COVID-19 vaccinations. If your child previously received 2 or 3 doses of the Pfizer & BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, he or she may be eligible for another clinical trial. Click Here to learn more.

About the Study

Because children can become seriously ill from COVID-19, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends COVID-19 vaccines for all children over 6 months old. As COVID-19 variants like Omicron continue to emerge, approval of a bivalent vaccine for children that aims to increase immunity against both current and future variants may be key for protecting them against COVID-19. "Bivalent" means a combination of two different variant types are targeted in a single shot.

The vaccine being studied is a combination of the original Pfizer & BioNTech vaccine (BNT162b2 Original) and an investigational vaccine targeting Omicron subtypes BA.4 and BA.5 (BNT162b2 Omicron BA.4/ BA.5).

An Important Contribution

Before a new vaccine can be approved for children, it must first be tested in a series of clinical trials. Without the help of clinical trial participants, we would not have any of the vaccines or medicines we use today.

By choosing to volunteer, your child will receive an investigational vaccine that may provide more comprehensive and longer-lasting protection against COVID-19 while representing others like them — in age, gender, race, ethnicity, and from communities like yours. Including people from all backgrounds will help us develop a COVID-19 vaccine that is more likely to be effective for everyone.

Joining a clinical trial is an important and personal decision for your family. Thank you for considering this study
