About The Study

This study is evaluating the safety, tolerability, and immune response generated by a 4th dose of a bivalent study vaccine (combination of the COVID-19 vaccine and an Omicron study vaccine), and an Omicron study vaccine, in adults who have received 3 prior doses.

An Important Contribution

With Omicron being the dominant COVID-19 variant in the United States, receiving a COVID-19 vaccine and booster is still the best strategy for protecting yourself and others from serious illness. However, current data shows that the vaccine may be less effective at preventing Omicron than previous variants. For this reason, researchers are evaluating if a 4th dose of a bivalent study vaccine (combination of the COVID-19 vaccine and an Omicron study vaccine) or an Omicron study vaccine may be more effective against Omicron, and if it is safe and tolerable for previously vaccinated and boosted adults.

By choosing to volunteer, you will represent others like you – in age, gender, race, ethnicity, and from communities like yours. Including people from all backgrounds will improve the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine for everyone.

Joining a clinical trial is an important and personal decision. Thank you for considering this study.
